Who we are
This site is run by Dough Ratio, the trading name of a sole trader registered in Portugal, who is the data controller. Contact: teamaijj+dough@mail.grokbot.com. We will give the controller's full name and address to anyone using their data-protection rights, or to an authority, on request.
We do not ask for accounts or personal details, and we don't use cookies.
What you type
The weights and percentages you type are worked out in your browser and are never sent to us. If you tap Save on the hydration, baker's percentage or levain calculator, that recipe (its name and numbers) is kept in your browser's local storage, on your device only. If you switch between grams, ounces and pounds, your choice is kept there too, so it is still set next time. This is used only to run the tool; it is not sent to us and is not used for tracking. Nothing else you type is stored. You can delete a saved recipe with its × button, or remove everything by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Legal basis: storing this on your device is strictly necessary for a feature you chose to use, so no consent is needed (ePrivacy Directive art. 5(3); Portuguese Law 41/2004, art. 5; UK PECR reg. 6). We never receive it, so we do not process it as personal data.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may process technical data such as IP address for security and delivery.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate (for example page views, referring sites, country and device type). It is cookieless, does not use your IP address to identify you, does not track you across sites and does not build personal profiles. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Advertising and cookies
There are no ads or ad cookies on this site. If we add ads in the future, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.
Purposes and legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)
- Delivering and securing the site (hosting logs): our legitimate interest in running a safe website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Replying to emails you send us: our legitimate interest in answering you.
Third parties and transfers
Cloudflare acts as host and for cookieless analytics. Some data may be transferred outside the EEA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
We keep emails only as long as needed to deal with your message, and no longer than 12 months. Hosting logs follow Cloudflare's retention.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and withdraw consent at any time, by emailing us. You can complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt), or your local authority (UK: ICO).
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
